Damien Coor

Director of Photography

Damien Coor is a cinematographer and photographer who has spent more than a decade working in film and video production. Damien has worked directing and shooting numerous projects including award winning music videos, documentary, narrative and commercial productions.

For his work, both internationally and domestically, Damien was named the Film Maker of the Month by the DC Office of Cable Television, Film, Music and Entertainment. Still, his concentration lies in the craft of cinematography. Damien initially gained his on set experience in the lighting department and as an AC. Some of the DPs that Damien has worked with include Bradford Young, ASC, award-winning DP Salvador Bolivar and Emmy Award winner Hans Charles.

Currently, Damien works as both a freelance cinematographer and an adjunct professor of cinematography and video editing. Damien received his MFA in cinematography from Howard University and currently works out of New York and Washington, DC.
