WHUT

“The Last Battlefront” is being shown on WHUT (Howard University’s PBS station) from February 2023 — 2026.

WHUT is transmitted over the air via Channel 32.1 as a 100% Free Public Broadcast to the District of Columbia, Southern Maryland, Baltimore, Northen Virginia, and other surrounding cities.

It is also carried via several local Cable/Wired Channels:

Future Plans

National Educational Telecommunications Association (NETA) has offered to broadcast the film nationwide on PBS.

PBS has 350-member television stations, many owned by educational institutions, nonprofit groups both independent or affiliated with one particular local public school district or collegiate educational institution, or entities owned by or related to state government.

“The Last Battlefront” will reach more than 80 million viewers when it launches through the National Educational Telecommunications Association (NETA) network, which feeds the into the national PBS system.

Past Screenings

“The Last Battlefront” premiered on WETA on November 8th, 2021. It was shown thrown throughout the Spring on 2022. Since then, it has been shown at private screenings at: The Martin Luther King Jr. Library, American University, All Souls Church Unitarian, Woman’s National Democratic Club, Show and Tell, and The African American Civil War Museum.
